About BYU MBAMA

The purpose of BYU’s MBA Marketing Association (MBAMA) is to connect and foster students’ career ambitions. Through fun and engaging networking, informational, and alumni events, MBAMA enables individuals to discover and pursue his or her professional goals.

As the marketing program at BYU continues to develop, MBAMA consistently assists in placing students in top Fortune 500 companies. With the generous support of the BYU Marketing Advisory Board, students are connected with supportive alumni who share their time to help students excel. Across the spectrum, from brand management to product management, students are provided opportunities to advance their career to best fit into their long term goals.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to increase the value of the BYU MBA by building a marketing association and brand that are highly respected for the exceptional marketing skillset and creativity taught to students and the irreplaceable professional network.


We fulfill our mission by focusing our efforts on three key aspects of the BYU MBA marketing experience:


Job Placement:

Assisting MBA students in obtaining meaningful internships, and ultimately helping them land their dream job.


The Marketing Skill Set:

Enhancing the marketing tool box of MBAMA students by providing supplemental learning opportunities such as organizing speakers, professional seminars, competitions, and workshops that help develop a foundational

skill set leading to professional excellence.


Professional Relationships:

Attracting and maintaining recruiting relationships with world-class companies who hire top marketing talent. As well as building a strong internal network among students to be utilized throughout careers.
